ShareFest UK 2025: Chill Vibes, Bold Ideas

Birmingham, United Kingdom, May 2025 – From Oceania to America, our biggest Maker festival, ShareFest, has travelled across the globe. This May, we brought this global community event series to the UK for the very first time with ShareFest UK 2025. Held in Birmingham, the event brought together over a hundred makers, hobbyists, and fans to celebrate innovation, inspiration, and the free spirit of 3D printing.

A Festival Powered by Maker Energy

ShareFest UK felt more like a 3D printing afterparty than a traditional event—an environment where creativity flowed naturally and conversations sparked easily.

Whether veteran makers or curious freshers, everyone found a place to connect. People shared their prints, exchanged project insights, and connected over both successes and challenges in their 3D printing journeys.

The event setting was casual and fun, featuring a space packed with enthusiasts, snacks, drinks, and a vibrant maker vibe that encouraged genuine connection.

First Hands-On Experience with the New K2 Pro

At the centre of it all was a live demo of the K2 Pro, our latest compact 3D printer. With a 300×300×300 mm build volume and multi-filament support powered by the new CFS system, the K2 Pro impressed the crowd with vibrant, high-speed multi-colour prints.

We loved seeing guests gather around the machine as it worked its magic. Our team answered questions, shared tips, and helped all the makers imagine the possibilities unlocked by the K2 Pro’s advanced capabilities.

Model Contest & Crowd Voting

One of the evening’s highlights was our live community model contest. Guests voted on their favourite designs right there, live on the spot, adding a fun, competitive vibe to the evening.

Every guest received a raffle ticket at the door, and throughout the evening, surprise prize draws kept the excitement going, with plenty of swag, filament, and gear going home with lucky attendees.

Beyond the contests and demos, what truly defined ShareFest UK was the relaxed and open atmosphere. We created a space for casual, meaningful exchange—where our team and guests could communicate freely, swap stories, share advice, and find inspiration in one another.

It felt less like a showcase and more like a shared experience—a celebration of making for the sake of making.
