Eight Years on Down Under: Creality Takes ShareFest to More Australian Cities

    Sep 29, 2024 17:44:51

Creality, a trailblazer in 3D printing technology, has proudly concluded its ShareFest Australia 2024, a series of highly anticipated user events held across the nation. Building on the momentum from last year’s successful event in Melbourne, this year’s ShareFest expanded its reach to the Gold Coast, Perth, and back to Melbourne again, offering an exceptional platform for the Australian 3D printing community to connect, explore, and celebrate technological advancements and creative endeavors.

The ShareFest series in Australia this year covered the length and breadth of the country beginning September 14 in Queensland, followed by engaging events in Western Australia on September 22, and concluding in Victoria on September 28. These gatherings provided a unique opportunity for users to interact directly with Creality’s team and delve into the latest developments in 3D printing technology.

A highlight of the Gold Coast event was the attendance of Creality’s CEO, Adam Ao, who took the time to personally engage with users and gather valuable feedback. His presence emphasized Creality’s commitment to understanding and addressing the needs of its Australian customer base, reinforcing the company's dedication to user-centric innovation.

Throughout the series, attendees were introduced to the latest Creality products, including the multi-colored K2 Plus Combo, which exemplifies the company’s ongoing commitment to advancing 3D printing technology and enhancing creative possibilities for users.

The ShareFest events also celebrated key contributors within the 3D printing community. Sean Riley, Creality Australia Group Admin, and an all-time ShareFest facilitator, was honored at the Gold Coast event. In Perth, Gary Brennand, a 3D printing expert and ShareFest facilitator, was recognized for his contributions. The Melbourne event celebrated Rick Champion, a notable YouTube influencer and local charity program facilitator, highlighting the diverse talents within the community.

Hosted by Gary as a homely tea-party, the Perth event featured immersive experiences with his machines and models, fostering community engagement among influencers, potential partners, and experienced users. The rich discussions and shared user cases not only deepened our understanding of the West Australian market but also ignited excitement, with many attendees expressing gratitude for the opportunity to connect and learn, highlighting the unique focus Creality places on user experience.

The Melbourne ShareFest, held in collaboration with local distributor 3D Printer Superstore, featured a special activity where attendees assembled a large logo model from printed blind box models. The event also included an after-party with DJ entertainment and a BBQ, creating a relaxed atmosphere for networking and celebration.

Interactive games and competitions added to the excitement at these ShareFest sessions, with participants engaging in challenges organized into five groups based on Creality’s core values. Winners received exclusive Creality merchandise, including branded T-shirts. Additionally, a model competition showcased an array of creative prints, with standout contributions from Gary Brennand and Rick Champion, further emphasizing the community's creativity and talent.

The series also featured a diverse lineup of guest speakers, including Troy Ruston from ibuiltkits, Professor Carl Sales from Unitec, Ethan Cooper from TAGMods, and the designer known as 3dprintbunny. Their insights into automotive customization, architectural design, gaming technology, and 3D printing design enriched the events and provided attendees with a broader perspective on the potential applications of 3D printing technology.

As the theme for global ShareFest 2024, “Imagine It, Make It,” encapsulates Creality’s vision of empowering users to transform their ideas into reality through innovative 3D printing solutions, this Australia series, themed as “Add Color, Add Value” rides the crest of color printing both in the industry and at Creality, highlighting Creality’s dedication to the Australian market with the latest tech breakthrough and fostering community engagement.

In addition to the ShareFest events, Creality was invited to participate in the Jaycar Retail Conference 2024, held from September 15 to 17, where Creality, among 136 store managers and senior decision-makers from the ANZ region, participated in an internal exhibition and training sessions by Jaycar. As a Diamond Package participant, Creality was provided a prominent 6x2 meter booth and engaged in a CEO dialogue session, where the attending CEOs discussed key strategies and collaborations. This involvement underscores the significance of Creality’s partnership with Jaycar in providing enhanced local support across Australia.

As a sponsor of the Jaycar Retail Conference 2024, Creality showcased its latest products on September 17, including the K2 Plus Combo, Falcon 2 Pro 60W, Raptor Scanner, Otter Scanner, HALOT MAGE S, HALOT R6, Creality Space Pi Filament Dryer Plus, and Hyper Rainbow PLA filaments. More Creality accessories will soon start to be on offer in all Jaycar stores too, allowing Australian customers to not only get the latest Creality products from Jaycar but also receive reliable after-sales support. As the two focus on deeper cooperation, Creality was awarded the Collaboration Trade Partner Award by Jaycar at the Conference.

In an interview from an Australian KOC at the ShareFest Gold Coast session, Ao expressed his gratitude: “Reflecting on this event, I want to sincerely thank everyone involved – here and beyond – all the way. Your enthusiasm and engagement highlighted the transformative potential of 3D printing in everyday life. At Creality, we believe in making 3D printing accessible to everyone, which is why we focus on localized innovation to meet diverse market needs, including specialized machines for footwear, dental applications, and food printing – we are definitely seeing immense potential there seeing that 3D printing is still in its infancy period. We are still focusing on multi- capabilities and high-speed printing for a while longer. And we are seeking to do everything at a low, and lower, cost to our environment. Meanwhile, our commitment to user feedback is the centerpiece to Creality and drives our continuous improvement. Also, special thanks to our partners whose support has been crucial in enhancing our local presence. We’re excited about continuing this journey of innovation together.”
