Creality Continues to Spearhead Growth in Q3 of 2022, 3D Printing Report Shows

Market intelligence firm CONTEXT’s latest 3D printing report shows that Creality continues to dominate the market of consumer-grade 3D printer under $2,500 in Q3 of 2022.

Shenzhen, China, January 12 – Creality, a global pioneer in 3D printing, continues to lead the growth of the consumer-grade 3D printing market and tops the industry in unit shipments and revenue in Q3 of 2022, as shown in the 3D printing report published today by CONTEXT, a London-based market intelligence.

According to CONTEXT, despite the deceleration of growth since the pandemic boom with both the Personal and the Kit & Hobby segments, Creality remains the market share leader. “Creality's growth in shipments in 2022 Q3 mainly thanks to the company's business strategy of building a 3D printing ecosystem to meet the diversified needs of customers,” said Steven Han, Brand and Marketing Director of Creality. “We’ve seen growth in several lineups, including fully-enclosed 3D printers, resin 3D printers, etc., and the shipment volume of DIY 3D printers increased slightly compared to 2021.”

In 2022, Creality reports +14% in H1 and +10% in H2 Year on Year. 2022 also witnessed several blockbuster products developed by Creality, including the flagship Ender-5 S1, Klipper-integrated Sonic Pad, professional-grade Sermoon D3, CR-Laser Falcon Laser Engraver, and the upgraded Ender-3 S1 and Neo series. These additions not only boosted Creality’s brand exposure but also gained users’ confidence in Creality’s product quality and performance.

Commenting on the 3D printing industry outlook in 2023, Chris Connery, Head of Global Analysis at CONTEXT, said: “As was seen in 2022, growth is expected to be much higher in system revenues than in unit shipments with revenues now forecasted to growth +19% across all technologies for the year against a unit volume growth expectation of just +9%.”

Creality will provide more products and services in 2023, helping users turn their creativities into realities. Stay tuned to Creality's official website for more information:
