Creality ShareFest Brazil 2023: A Carnival of Creativity in São Paulo

São Paulo, Brazil – December 9, 2023 Creality, a trailblazer in the world of 3D printing, recently wrapped up its Brazilian segment of the Creality ShareFest 2023 series with a spectacular user meetup on December 9 in São Paulo. This exclusive event marked a significant leap in understanding user perspectives and exploring the future of 3D printing in the Brazilian market.

Creality ShareFest in 2023: A Global Odyssey, Now in Brazil

Creality ShareFest has successfully traversed multiple global locations in 2023, including China (Shenzhen/Shanghai), USA (Goshen/Maryland), France (Lespinasse), Australia (Melbourne), and now, Brazil. The São Paulo event, part of this global initiative, followed its predecessors with tremendous success.

Leading up to the event, registrations opened on November 10th, and within a month over 178 Brazilian users signed up. The actual event garnered significant anticipation, with 51 attendees, showcasing the broad appeal and accessibility of 3D printing technology, as well as the inclusivity of Creality ShareFest.

Showcasing Products and Experiencing Innovation

At the event, Creality introduced a range of new 3D printers, including the highly anticipated Ender-3 V3 KE and CR-10 SE. Victor, one of our dedicated Brazilian team members, presented key products such as the Ender-3 V3 SE, K1 Max, Mage Pro, Falcon 2 22W, Ferret Pro, and Hyper PLA, providing attendees with a comprehensive overview of our entire product line.

Community Involvement and Insights

Renowned 3D printing expert Natacha Harumi, currently pursuing a Ph.D. at the University of São Paulo, delivered an insightful presentation on the applications of 3D printing in the health sector. Her engaging talk inspired attendees, and five participants engaged in a Q&A session with Natacha, discussing pathways for development and sustained involvement in the 3D printing industry. Natacha also shared her experience of using the Ferret Pro in her project on skulls for disabled children. Leveraging the advantages of the scanner, she demonstrated a faster method for scanning infant skulls, rapidly developing 3D printing solutions as a cost-effective alternative.

Dante Cilli, an educator and Ph.D. candidate at São Paulo University, shared his experiences, imparting technical knowledge in mechanical printing applications. He showcased a Rover entirely printed using the Ender-3 S1, demonstrating the printer's capability to produce all components without the need for supports.

The event also witnessed attendance from industry figures including representatives from the largest 3D printing factory in Brazil, artebox3D, and experts from the motorcycle industry who showcased vehicles 3D printed using Creality printers.

K1 Race: A Thrilling Test of Precision and Speed

A pivotal part of ShareFest Brazil was the K1 Race, where participants showcased the stability, speed, and reliability of the K1 3D printer printing Creality's mascot Cuva. The competition also involved receiving a 3D puzzle model file, configuring the slicer to ensure efficient and high-quality printing on the Creality K1, and assembling the puzzle in the shortest time possible. The winners, who set up the best print and assembled the puzzle in the shortest time, claimed the championship and walked away with a K1 unit and three rolls of filament.

Model Contest Tradition Continues

A highlight of ShareFest events, the model contest continued in São Paulo. Attendees voted for their favorite models, maintaining the tradition of community engagement. Winners, falling back on 3d-printed Batman, motorbike and Marvel figures, received coveted Creality products, including the Ender-3 V3 SE, K1 Max, and five filament rolls. By leveraging the power of its inventions, Creality aspires to inspire creative ideas among makers.

Capturing Memories: Group Photos and Dinner

Besides a tea time which allowed people to admire the many curious models presented by the users and get hands on the machines, Creality also provided a delightful dinner, fostering conversations around 3D printing experiences. To commemorate the beauty of ShareFest Brazil, participants came together for group photos.

Looking Ahead: Creality's Commitment to the Global Community

In addition to the offline activities, the event also featured an exclusive live stream with Brazil's top 3D printing influencer, @3Dgeekshow. The live stream shared the excitement of ShareFest, narrating Creality's journey and its stories with users. Benefitting from Creality partner Slim 3D, the live stream viewers enjoyed exclusive discount coupons, with the chance to win five rolls of filament, one K1 Max, and one high-speed roll.
