🖨️ K2 Series 3D Printer Focus
Q: When K2 Pro was released with multiple parts upgraded from K2 Plus , will these parts also be upgraded on new K2 Plus machines?
A: "Indeed, some detailed components have been optimized in the K2 series, such as the nozzle design and the nozzle wiper assembly. These improvements will be gradually implemented in future production batches of the K2 Plus. This means that while your current unit may not have all these updates yet, replacement parts and new units will benefit from these optimizations. We’re continuously working to enhance both performance and user experience with each production batch."

Q: The K2 Pro and K2 Plus seem very similar. Was it developed from lessons learned with the K2 Plus, and if so, what were the key takeaways?
A: "Here are some of the key improvements we made:
- Heatbed Leveling: We incorporated insights from the K2 Plus, particularly regarding thermal deformation of large aluminum build plates. The K2 Pro features an optimized heatbed design and improved heating logic during leveling—both for the bed and the chamber—significantly increasing the success rates of 3d print first-layer.
- Vibration Patterns & Layer Artifacts: Based on user feedback on print quality, ringing, and layer lines with the K2 Plus, we targeted these issues directly in the K2 Pro’s development to enhance overall print smoothness and detail.
- PTFE Tube Detachment: The K2 Pro adopts an upgraded version of the tubing material already proven in later K2 Plus units, preventing recurrence of this issue.
- Hotend Filament Contact: Learning from the K2 Plus, we optimized the filament path and connection method at the hotend, greatly reducing errors and interruptions caused by filament-related issues."

Q: Will there be upgrade kits for the K2 series in the future?
A: "Yes. The K2 series is focused on making 3D printing more accessible and reliable, and we are planning future upgrade kits so users can expand capabilities."

Q: The current CFS wastes a lot of filament. Any plans to fix this? Are you planning/working on a CFS unit that has a built-in drying unit?
A: "We’re continuously optimizing the CFS. We’re exploring better solutions for filament switching and waste reduction, and your feedback is a key driver for improvements. And yes, we have considered it. We will consider adding a more efficient consumables drying function in future products."

🔧 Hardware & Reliability
Q: Many users report issues like extruder couplers breaking, PTFE tube slips, or 3d print warping off bed. How do you respond?
A: "We’ve collected all this feedback and are improving part design and material quality. Several upgraded parts are already under testing, and reliability will continue to improve."

🧩 Materials & Ecosystem
Q: Do you plan to partner with major filament brands and provide pre-made print profiles?
A: "We've partnered with renowned brands like Polymaker and eSUN, and these official compatibility features are now available in the K2 PLUS's filament configurations. Because all our filament profiles undergo extensive real-world printing testing (both for validation and commercial purposes), we're relatively cautious with updates. Rest assured, we'll continue to expand compatibility in the future."

Q: Any plans for multi-toolhead 3d printer or IDEX solutions?
A: "We’re actively researching advanced multi-extrusion systems. It’s a complex challenge, but user demand is clear, and it’s under evaluation."

💻 Software & Firmware
Q: Will AI truly revolutionize 3d printing making it easier to build models and optimize build times and reduce failure rates. Will it be possible to integrate local conditions like environment temperature, humidity, bed temperature for the AI to tweak printer settings for best results with minimal human input?
A:Yes, AI truly has the potential to bring significant changes to 3D printing. For example, in the modeling stage, many designers already use AI to generate creative models, surface textures, or rough drafts, which are then slightly refined with professional software. Creality has also introduced the CubeMe photo-based AI modeling tool to help users quickly solve modeling challenges. During the slicing stage, AI can optimize support structures and model orientation, reducing failure rates without requiring users to manually adjust these professional settings.

Q: For your future 3d printers, will you open-source Klipper or improve Creality Print's slicing for a better multi-color 3d printer experience?
A: "We’re working on greater transparency for firmware, and our software team is heavily focused on enhancing the 3d printing experience, with significant improvements to multi-color slicing algorithms."

🎉 Other Questions
Q: What about bigger machines, like a K3 or larger build volume models?
A: "Future product planning includes larger models and more scalable solutions — stay tuned!"
Asked by: Asked by: u/flouzi, u/...
Q: What specific community feedback or user complaints had the highest priority in shaping the K2 Pro development? Were there particular issues that the community kept bringing up that directly influenced your design decisions?
A: "We prioritize issues that directly impact the workflow and print quality of most users. For example: Print failures caused by incorrect filament selection → We are exploring ways to prevent misselection and provide alerts when such errors occur; Print quality issues caused by batch variations → We will prioritize them to ensure consistency."
Asked by: u/byurhanbeyzat, u/...
Q: What is the feature of the K2 series the engineers are most proud of and why?
A: "The use of FOC servo motors: they provide highly efficient adaptive current control, reduced risk of thermal runaway..."
