Ender-3 S1

  • Does the Z-axis limit switch need to be installed?
Z-axis limit switch as the default accessory does not need to be installed. The Z-axis limit switch needs to be installed only if it is determined that the CR Touch is damaged and cannot be used.
  • Automatic leveling (after receiving the printer)
    1. Using the CR Touch automatic leveling, you need to check the Z-axis compensation value after leveling is finished. Enter “Prepare Z-axis compensation”, adjust the Z-axis compensation value and move the Z-axis, making the height of the nozzle to the platform is almost the thickness of a piece of A4 paper (0.08-0.1mm). Click the knob to confirm and the whole leveling is completed. For more details, please refer to the leveling video and the handbook.

    2. When the inclination of the whole platform is greater than 2mm, the automatic leveling steps mentioned above are not applicable and you need to use auxiliary leveling.
