Ender-6: Unleash the Fastest Print Speed at 300mm/s Without Sacrificing Print Quality
On April 9th, Creality announced the very first Core-XY 3D printer Ender-6, which is confirmed to be capable of printing at high speed up to 300mm/s, without sacrificing print quality. With improvements enhanced in software and hardware, Ender-6 excels in printing multiple materials including PLA, ABS, TPU, PETG, and more.
How Could Ender-6 Achieve 3 Times Faster Printing?
The Ender-6 is utilizing a core-XY motion system in its cube-shaped structure. Different from motion systems on Delta 3D printers and Cartesian 3D printers, the core-XY mechanism is having a bottom-to-top moveable print bed, and utilizing two stepper motors to drive the motion in X-axis and Y-axis. The print head will move in specific directions depending on which way the stepper motor is spinning, greatly reducing vibrations and weight the printer has to bear during motion. In this way, the printing goes at a higher speed without sacrificing quality.
What is the Highest Print Speed that Ender-6 can Reach?
On June 9th, Creality enjoyed a live stream with customers abroad, which enabled customers to get an opportunity to take a close look at the print performance.
During the live stream, Ender-6 was tested to print at 3 different print speeds.
